Low-wage LMIAs submitted from Nov. 6 can last up to two years, and early childhood educators are added to the exceptions in high-unemployment areas. Further regional changes, including a 15% low-wage hiring cap, depend on provinces and territories opting in and are set for March 1, 2027.
